Unfreeze

When unprocessed stress fills our “bucket,” the brain often checks out“Too much. I’m out.”
This is dissociation.
Before we can process anything, we need to re-enter the body safely and gradually.
Movement techniques provide a bridge, helping us relearn presence and a felt sense of safety

I grew up a nationally competitive dancer, pushing through hip pain, bursitis, and a body that could train hard but collapsed under pressure. As a pro dancer and actor, that hidden stress turned into burnout, procrastination, and anxiety. A body and mind I couldn’t trust.

Then I discovered the truth: my body was holding stress my brain couldn’t hear.

Is this online?

Yes, all sessions are held through Zoom

Will I be moving or talking?

Good question! It’s actually both. It depends on what you’re coming to me for:
If you’re dealing with pain: mostly movement, with a bit of conversation
If it’s more emotional: mostly talking, with some gentle movement

That’s the beauty of the nervous system, everything’s connected!

Will I be shaking and screaming?

Ha, no you won't. The internet shows some crazy things sometimes. This work isn't about quick, intense releases, it's about slow sustainable releasing. You can't heal the same way you got sick right?

Can I do this while in therapy?

Absolutely and I would encourage it! Somatic work & Therapy can be a very strong catalyst for change.
